Description Steam (Français)
Dungeon Trail is an abstracted dungeon crawler where you send adventurers on a quest, making use of dice manipulation to overcome challenges.
You love gambling, don't you?
The archfiend known as the Lord of Greed awoke from his slumber to spread chaos throughout the world. As the Guildmaster, you are tasked with hiring adventurers and guiding them on a quest to stop him. But how are newbie mercenaries from a small town guild meant to defy such odds?
Money. The answer is "money".
In the world of Dungeon Trail, Fate is an entity that loves gold and will accept bribes in exchange for second chances. Whether an attack would fail to hit, a trap would hurt too much or an enemy blow would result in certain death, a little gold coin can be offered to change one's immediate destiny.
Sword, sorcery and rolling bones
Where's the fun of gambling without a little cheating? Dice manipulation isn't only allowed, it's encouraged with Tricks, which are consumables that allow you to determine specific results easily. We can't let leave everything up to Fate...
Reroll, regroup, restart.
Embark on an adventure where managing resources (be them gold, health or human lives) is everything and the difference between perishing or profiting is decided by dice throws.
Your party can be substituted easily should any of them perish. If the difficulty feels overwhelming, a Prestige mechanic allows you to go back with more resources and start over stronger.
Features
A new challenge every run: Events are randomized every time you play for maximum dungeon crawling goodness.
Change destiny: use gold to reroll your way out of dangerous situations or into good fortune, or Tricks to change specific dice to predetermined results!
15 Character Classes, leading to over 1365 possible final party configurations! Will you prioritize battles, safety or gold farming?
80+ enemies to battle, with abilities that will require attention and a lot of luck to get through!
Easy to pick up, hard to put down: Gameplay designed to be played in short bursts, with autosave on every Town and a Prestige feature to give players a smoother restart if they fall on hard times late in a run.
No microtransactions: dive deep into the fun part of gambling without any real world consequences.

Update notes for 1.06
Greetings, Guildmasters! We put together this minor update to address some font display issues and minor graphical quirks, as well as the usual QoL tweaks. We also implemented Steam Rich Presence messages, so your friends can know how far along you are while you play. We hope to implement any relevant changes to the demo as well in preparation for the upcoming Steam Sales. Your feedback and support has been really important to the game. Thank you all. Best of luck, guildmasters!
First major update! Not an April Fools.
Greetings, guildmasters! We have received a lot of feedback from players and we decided to put in some time to address issues people were having with progressing through the game by implementing an interactive Tutorial at the beginning of runs that will teach new players how rerolling, monster skills, Lucky Numbers and TRICKs work. We hope this will make the introduction to the game more of a frictionless experience. Completely skippable if you're a veteran. Besides the tutorial, there was something we tackled in this update based on your feedback: a major overhaul regarding difficulty. We heard a lot of people wanting to use TRICKs more often, or struggling to progress after a particularly unlucky battle, be unable to upgrade characters to keep up with the challenges they faced... so we went through the game and adjusted it to make Normal Mode easier to go through, by ensuring players would have more options available at their disposal to face against The Lord of Fear's minions and perils. On the other hand, Hard Mode's difficulty increased, in spite of benefitting from the increased options it received from that same change; we didn't want to diminish the challenge players came to expect and love from the game, so we added one little rule that should spice things up: Not getting a free Level Up after every area makes a world of difference when you're limited to a party size of 3, and the change in progression speed also affects the Level of the Adventurers you'll meet in the Village Taverns. You might be making more resources from the rebalancing, but rest assured you will have to spend them often. We feel Hard Mode became a much more satisfying experience and hope you will enjoy it as well as we have here at the studio. Besides these aspects, we worked on minor UI glitches, added some QoL features, a little extra content here and here and went through the in-game manual editing it for clarity. We also made sure the Steam Demo reflects the changes we made to gameplay in the main game. These changes may not be as fancy to talk about, but we hope they make your journey a little less troubling in a bad way, so you all can be troubled only by trying to resolve dice rolls that don't result in party wipes. As always, your feedback matters a lot to us: please keep it coming. Best of luck, guildmasters!
Minor bugfixing - v1.04
Greetings, guildmasters! This one is just a minor patch to fix a bug resulting from the previous update that could lead to a crash on the Night Market Trick menu. Should be all good for now! Best of luck, guildmasters!
