Drake & Josh: Talent Showdown

30 /100
30 juillet 2007

NintendoWorldReport 75/100

« A surprisingly robust game. While it probably won’t interest hardcore DS owners who are awaiting more 1st party efforts, casual gamers and kid gamers can really get into it. »

Digital Entertainment News 65/100

« If we’re lucky, the game’s designers will take the lessons learned while creating this game and go on to make something truly great with them. Unfortunately, the flaws that impede the main game and two minigames here rob all three of their potential, leaving us with a title that, quite simply, isn’t fun. »

IGN 35/100

« Can't it be a rule that developers have to know something about the show before they make a whole game? That way half-baked, monotonous titles that do nothing for fans, like Drake and Josh won't keep getting made. Just stay away from this no talent title. »

GameZone 32/100

« It really is a shameless excuse to try and cash in on a license. Fans of the series will be disappointed in this brain numbing exercise. »

Worth Playing 30/100

« Drake and Josh: Talent Showdown is a huge waste of time and not worth trying even if you're a fan of the show. »

Nintendo Gamer 25/100

« We've never met Josh or Drake, or even seen their TV programme, but after enduring this awful mess of a game we wish we were still completely ignorant of them. [Nov 2007, p.72] »

« Some people might say that this game is bad and is comprised of almost entietrley annoying fetchquests with occasional rhythm game minigames, but i say that it is much more than just that. the seemingly endless chain of grabbing keys only to be told to find more keys is a deep metaphor for the way humans need to gather "keys" to get through life by aiding others in their struggles. as you progress through the game, even the simplest of tasks will turn into a lengthy series of events and cause you to struggle trying to achieve your goals. so you see, the mindnumbing objectives are actually a very deep representation of the human struggle. however, this game also teaches that, as long as you remain true to your goals and help the people around you all the way, you will always be able to find the ultimate key to a good life. this game also **** and i hate it »

« Did not enjoy the game and constantly crashed on me and a poor release of my love for this series »

« Trash uhh what else more can I really say? I don’t really know but I guess I’ll keep going »

« I do not know why critics think this game is bad. OK it might have some bugs and could get boring but I think this game was great. The minigames were kind of short but I still liked it. »
