Concrete Genie, développé par Pixelopus et édité par Sony Interactive Entertainment, est sorti le 26 septembre 2019 sur PlayStation 4 et PlayStation VR. Ce titre mêlant aventure, réflexion et plateforme met en scène Ash, un jeune garçon victime d'intimidation qui découvre une peinture magique susceptible de sauver sa ville natale. Réalisé avec l'Unreal Engine 4, le jeu propose une histoire principale d'environ cinq heures et une expérience complète estimée à huit heures, pour une note moyenne agrégée de 76,57.
L'accueil critique a été favorable, la presse saluant notamment le retour réussi du studio : le Daily Star a évoqué un enchantement dès le premier coup de pinceau par la couleur et la narration, tandis que Gaming Nexus a qualifié le titre de l'un des meilleurs de sa génération pour avoir élargi les contours du médium vidéoludique autour de la création artistique. Du côté des joueurs, certains ont apprécié son atmosphère détendue et son message positif, regrettant toutefois la fermeture ultérieure de Pixelopus par Sony, et ont souligné un court voyage plein de cœur malgré sa brièveté.
