Classic NES Series: Bomberman, développé et publié par Hudson Soft, est sorti sur Game Boy Advance le 14 février 2004. Ce titre de stratégie et de réflexion / puzzle propose de incarner Bomberman, dont l'objectif est de faire exploser des briques et des ennemis sur le champ de bataille afin de trouver la porte menant au niveau suivant. Des power-ups permettent d'augmenter le rayon d'explosion, mais être touché par sa propre bombe oblige à recommencer le niveau. La presse a salué la dimension addictive du jeu après quelques niveaux, tandis que certains critiques regrettent l'absence de mode multijoueur et estiment que le titre original était moyen. Des joueurs, de leur côté, y voient un classique nostalgique de son époque.

« Mais um clássico de sua época. Joguei recentemente e me bateu uma forte nostalgia de quando eu jogava quando criança. Fruto de sua época, Bomberman apresenta uma gameplay básica, porém satisfatória. Não enjoei de jogar, passo horas jogando. Um sound effect satisfatório, uma gameplay simples e uma boa trilha sonora fazem desse jogo um bom passa tempo. É simples de mais para ser avaliado como um grande jogo, mas a mim agradou e muito. »
