Cars 3: Driven to Win, développé par TT Games et Avalanche Software et édité par WB Games, est sorti le 13 juin 2017 sur PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One et Wii U. Ce jeu de course propose six modes de jeu permettant aux joueurs de perfectionner leurs compétences de conduite, telles que le drift, le turbo, la conduite sur deux roues, la marche arrière ou encore le side-bash, et d'évoluer dans le jeu en débloquant nouveaux modes, circuits et personnages. Une fonction de coopération en écran partagé local est également disponible pour jouer à plusieurs à domicile. La durée de la campagne principale est estimée à huit heures, tandis qu'un parcours complet atteint vingt-huit heures et demie. Le titre affiche une note agrégée de 71,80. La presse a salué un jeu coloré et amusant, GameGrin évoquant une expérience idéale pour initier les enfants aux courses de leurs personnages favoris et Video Chums recommandant ce kart racer pour son style mignon et charmant, tandis que certains joueurs sur Metacritic témoignent d'un attachement durable au titre, l'un d'eux le qualifiant d'insuffisamment reconnu après cinq années de jeu partagé avec son frère.

« Great game overall, it certainly is an improvement over its predecessor when it comes to gameplay and mechanics, however they could have made much more characters available like Strip Weathers, snot rod, boost,Dj, and Wingo, instead of those boring ugly buses they added, one thing the world of Cars does not lack is COOL CARS they could have implemented them, and i also wish that they made every single character unique and with his own stats like in the old cars games instead of making all of them have the same speed and making racing rely on Turbo only, other than these two points I had a LOT of FUN playing this game as a Cars fan and I would recommend it to every single Cars fan out there. »
« This game does not go over the movies plots nor replay or give flashbacks of those projects. What it does is expand the world in showing what happens after that where Chick Hicks makes you go up against some of the racers in their respective race fields to see if you are the best! Overall this game was a good game in general, growing up loving the cars franchise I just knew this was gonna hit me different and I’m glad I spent the money I did to get it. The way it adds to the story almost makes it feel canon which I still don’t even know if it is. The game sponsor’s amazing graphic design and innovative mechanics, humorous voice acting and great player co-op. Overall top notch game for cars fans or anyone willing to give it a try! »
« As someone who used to love the Cars franchise when I was younger, this game is pretty okay. The gameplay is fine, it's enjoyable, but one thing I don't like is how the game heavily relies on the nitro, otherwise the cars feel slow and sluggish. The variety of gamemodes is nice, but this game requires so much grinding in order to unlock new stages and cars, to the point where it gets boring. As for the car selection, unfortunately there is a lack of racing cars, there are so many old cars or dirty trucks, most of the cars just don't seem interesting. Final Rating: "Average" ~ 5/10. »
