« Windjammers 2 is what a sequel should be. Updated visuals, added bonus games, and new characters, all without ruining the core game play. As I have said, Dotemu did a remarkable job with this release just as they have with their previous classic sequel efforts. If you are a fan of the original Neo Geo game, or if you want a fun game with a lot of challenge, than look no further than Windjammers 2. We may actually have a contender for 2022 Game Of the Year on our hands! I cannot recommend this game enough to every gamer out there, it is truly a super fun time! »

« The game is a bit limited in single player, but has awesome potential in multiplayer. Gameplay depth is bigger than expected and you will spend countless hours trying to defy your friends. Graphics lacks a bit of charm however. »

« I kept hearing complaints that this was "basically just pong", but my complaint is that it isn't basically just pong. If you try to pick up and play this game, you will be confused. The instructions aren't clear or good. I'm sure with time I can enjoy this game more but in general I wish I had my money back. The art style is very nice and in general the controls feel responsive, I just don't like what the controls do. »

Come dicevamo prima, la campagna è composta da 5 stage più dei bonus. Dotemu con questo seguito ha cercato di essere il più fedele possibile all’originale, con una veste grafica nuova e con qualche nuovo ****. « I felt through this masterpiece the developer's passionate love for the heritage of the original title. Windjammers 2 is something everybody has to play at least one time. The unique vibe of its universe, the well-balanced learning curve easily could make it the best fighting game you ever played. The new maps had designed with a lot of creativity and the new gameplay mechanisms help you not to be frustrated even on the Clay map. I had the fear three new buttons will push this game towards too much complexity but now I feel these things are needed to feel I play the same game but with so much fresh blood in it. The original game was fast-paced but this one is rolling lightspeed. The comix-like art is fantastic and timeless. Casino, 4 point floor, and Hurricane Max are my favorite new experiences. More stories or backgrounds for these fantastic characters could be good DLC content. »
