Twin Souls est sorti le 13 octobre 2022 sur PC (Microsoft Windows). Le joueur incarne Aragami, un esprit vengeur capable de contrôler les ombres, invoqué par Yamiko, une jeune femme prisonnière de la forteresse de Kyuryu. Il doit s'infiltrer dans la ville pour combattre l'armée de la Lumière, les Kaiho, et découvrir la vérité liant ces deux âmes. Le titre permet de créer des ombres pour devenir invisible, de se téléporter entre elles et d'utiliser différents pouvoirs pour éliminer ses ennemis, tout en laissant le choix entre un style d'assassin impitoyable ou de fantôme indétectable. Une partie de l'histoire principale demande environ sept heures, contre près de dix-neuf heures et demie pour une approche complétiste, et le jeu est proposé au prix de 19,50 euros. Le score Metacritic s'élève à 71. La presse a salué un jeu d'infiltration soigné, God is a Geek évoquant un titre superbe et fluide et Wccftech relevant la qualité impressionnante de l'ensemble, tandis que certains joueurs sur Steam y voient un bon jeu d'infiltration au côté fantastique plaisant.

« Sendo sincero, eu não esperava muito desse game e ele acabou me entregando muita diversão e uma história incrível, ele me lembrou muito minha infância, quando joguei Okami, a arte do game foi o que mais me chamou a atenção, simplesmente lindo visualmente falando, a jogabilidade é simples mas se encaixa perfeitamente, tem alguns bugs mas nada impossível de superar, você precisa ter muita estratégia para passar tranquilamente, eu já tenho 0 paciência, então simplesmente passei varrendo qualquer um na minha frente, eu gostei muito do jogo, levando em conta que é um jogo Indie, ele entrega muito mais do que promete, recomendo muito para quem gosta dessa pegada stealth. »

« My first mistake was playing this game immediately after finishing a high octane hack n' slash game, this game is not combat friendly. Not to say you won't be doing any kind of combat, but you really have to take your time and plan your path before making moves. This is stealth gaming at its core and if you play too carelessly you'll lose again and again. Presentation is fantastic with an Okami-like Japanese paintbrush/cell shaded look, and the HUD is cleverly encompassed entirely on your cloak in an eye catching way. Its a fine game, plays pretty well, soundtrack is actually very enjoyable. Story is a little lackluster if only because you can see the twist coming with sullies it a little bit. »
