Twin Saga
Twin Saga

« As a free to play game players get a ton of content with none of it locked behind a paywall. The cash shop is setup very well and isn’t obnoxious about trying to get players to spend their money. The normal cash shop items of mystery boxes, XP boosters, inventory expansion, convenience items, and costumes can be found there and everything seems to be pretty fairly priced. I am mildly concerned by some stated items and the selling of XP books, but nothing just out as being objectively bad. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« First off, MMORPG are spreading lies about Twin Saga, there are paywalls all over the place especially with the ridiculously overpriced Senshi, many of which should be free but in typical Aeria fashion - they asked X-Legend to monetize them. They spout about fairly priced? Are we playing the same game? The cash shop is full of gamble boxes with nearly 0% chances to win, the astral puzzle is also obnoxiously rigged way against the player with again, pathetic chances to win and that is just the tip of the iceberg that is sinking this game faster than a proverbial Titanic. In addition to nearly criminally low odds to win, the game suffered from unplayable lag for over a month which led to huge amounts of players quitting the game, so much so the game is a broken barren shell held together by a few remaining whales. The game suffered from huge amounts of botters, and hackers too which hurt the economy to a point it was beyond saving, we're talking stated items selling for upwards of 60,000g just month after launch, and like with many of these X-Legend clones, gold isn't that easy to make unless your a casher selling Astral Crystals or Fortification scrolls, the regular non-paying players have to either get extremely lucky with drops or play with substandard gear meaning dungeon runs are either tough or nearly impossible - I'd like to see an undergeared player attempt to do Haven for example. There are many problems with the game, many are Gamigo's fault here - Yes Gamigo is Aeria now, let that sink in for a minute then you'll realize how bad it is, no wonder Dragomon failed - and no surprise why Twin Saga is practically dead now, because it surely isn't alive with its 100 players. Alot of the problems have been caused purely by Gamigo's greed, the rest of the problems are sheer design flaws in the game such as the strange levelling curves, its extremely easy to level to 49 - so much so it can be done in less than a day, but getting to 55 takes several weeks if not a month of repeating the same daily content **** **** over again, with the lack of content, the poor drop rate on gear it spelt disaster from day 1, and couple that with the extremely slow rollout of patches and **** wait, its been 2 months and the only new content we've gotten has been a few new dungeons, and PvP **** and the $900 Senshi Rita. So I hear you say I was talking about the so called Paywalls? Technically there really isn't any...however, for a non-paying player getting gold is a huge problem and since the drop rate is exceptionally bad, we're talking running the same dungeons and never seeing a recipe drop, or anything actually useful and because of that, running the higher dungeons without gear will get harder and harder, some of the high tier content will be impossible without full orange sets at +20 I surmise, so not really paywalls but huge hurdles free players will have, especially in a thoughly hostile economy. Overall, Twin Saga was a highly promising game utterly destroyed by inaction, poor management and greed, this is really Gamigos fault - X-Legends design flaws didn't really help matters. New Players, one piece advice - get into a highly populated guild assuming any are even left, beg/cheat/steal for scraps or hope some nice charitable person is going to help you, and never, never spend a single dime. Gamigo burned practically every single bridge and player since open beta launched. »
