The Life You Missed est un jeu narratif à l'atmosphère envoûtante.

The Life You Missed — New Release Date and Demo Version
Friends, I want to share an important update regarding "The Life You Missed"The game’s release date has been pushed back to July 22.During development, it became clear that I had initially underestimated the scope of work and the time required to bring all my ideas to life. As is often the case with many new developers, reality turned out to be more challenging than my initial plans. It’s important to me to release the game with the quality it deserves, rather than rushing to meet a previously announced date. The extra time will allow me to polish the details, fix any flaws, and pay more attention to the elements that make this story truly special.Fortunately, the wait won’t be long.• On July 10, a demo version of The Life You Missed will be released, and you’ll be able to experience the game, its atmosphere, and its story for the first time.• The full version will be released on July 22.Thank you to everyone who is following the project, adding the game to their wishlist, and supporting its development. This is my first major project, and I sincerely hope it will be worth the wait.Thank you for your understanding and patience. See you very soon in The Life You Missed.
The Life You Missed is a story about the life we don't notice.
Hello everyone, my name is Nastya. And I'm creating this game not because I "wanted to make a game."But because at some point I caught myself thinking: I can live my life without even realizing it.That's how it all began.I'm currently a budding developer working on my first game, "The Life You Missed Out On." Honestly, this is a very exciting and important step for me.This is my first project, and it's much more personal than just a "game." The idea didn't come out of nowhere.Somewhere around 2022-2023, I began to develop a feeling that's hard to explain: in the pursuit of goals and results, you can imperceptibly miss out on life itself. Not just one moment, but entire years.I hesitated for a long time before taking any action. But at some point, I realized: if I don't try now, I never will. This is how The Life You Missed came to be—an atmospheric, story-driven story about a man who spent his entire life striving for success, but one day realized he'd missed the most important thing. In the game, you return to an old house to close another deal.A routine task. But gradually, this place begins to reveal the past—through notes, photographs, and memories. And at some point, you begin to see not only someone else's life, but also your own.During the day, you explore the house and its surroundings, recreating past events. At night, you dream, faced with choices. And it is this choice that will determine your final outcome. The main idea for me is very simple and very personal:happiness isn't in the final goal.It was always there—in the process, in the little things, in the moments we often overlook. The project is currently in active development, and it's both a joy and a fear.I really want the game to resonate with audiences. You'll be able to try it out soon:— the demo will be released in mid-June— the full release is planned for the end of June The game is also participating in the Games to Be festival, and it's a special occasion for me to show my work to players for the first time.I'm very excited. But even more so, I'm looking forward to the moment when someone plays this story...and maybe stops for a second and reflects on themselves.
