TeamXbox 70/100

« As far as movie based games go, The Incredible Hulk is better than most in recent memory. As far as comic based games go, it's not bad either. Still, when compared to the last Hulk game, it feels like the game's already been done before, and on the last generation of consoles as well. »

GamesRadar+ 70/100

« While annoying, the lock-ups don't really do much to dampen how outlandishly fun the game is. If you like the Hulk and you enjoying destroying things, you'll enjoy your time with The Incredible Hulk, even if you have to reset the system from time to time. »

Destructoid 70/100

« Even as a non-fan, I've been finding my time as the jolly green git rather enjoyable and have found plenty to like about it. It's definitely worth a weekend's smashing and bashing, at the very least. »

DailyGame 70/100

« The game is fun and being the Hulk as never been such a chaotic thrill. However, the horrible voice acting and corporate Achievement schemes will bring even the Hulk to his knees. »

Games Master UK 70/100

« Just don't expect a sophisticated experience. [Aug 2008, p.70] »

Game Informer 68/100

« The word “good” should never be used when describing this game, but “entertaining” definitely fits it. Who doesn’t love smashing stuff? The Hulk does it better than anyone, and it’s captured quite well within this game. »

Official Xbox Magazine 65/100

« Demolishing a city may make for a fun weekend rental, but not quite an incredible one. »

Kombo 65/100

« So while Incredible Hulk isn't a bad game, it's actually several steps backward from the last Hulk title. If you are a Hulk fan, this is a definite rental. But if you want the true Hulk experience, stick with Ultimate Destruction. »

« This action game based on the movie plays like an open-world "Rampage". The story missions are fun, but often follow the same pattern; you're tasked with going from Point A to Point B while smashing enemies and creating destruction. The side-activities are a little more diverse with their own challenges. As you progress, the Hulk becomes more powerful as he levels up and gains upgraded attacks and special abilities. "The Incredible Hulk" isn't up there with the best "Spider-Man" games, but it's better than "Iron Man". I would rate it with a 7 out of 10. »

« An underrated action game that plays like "Rampage" meets "Grand Theft Auto". It can get repetitive quick, so it's best to play in small doses. There are plenty of story missions and side-diversions. As you progress, the Hulk earns moves and attacks. Unlockable content includes alternate skins, comic book covers and conceptual art. Overall, this is a lot more fun than "Iron Man" on the Xbox 360. I would rate it with a 7.2 out of 10. »

« A mindless action game that plays like "Rampage" meets "Grand Theft Auto". It can get repetitive quick, so it's best to play in small doses. There are plenty of story missions and side-diversions. And as you progress, the Hulk gets stronger. Unlockable content includes different skins, comic book covers and conceptual art. Overall, this is more fun than "Iron Man" on the Xbox 360. I would rate it with a 6.5 out of 10. »
