Sorti le 7 juillet 2008 en Amérique du Nord et le 18 juillet suivant en Europe, Spogs Racing est un jeu de course développé par Pronto Games et édité par D2C Games sur Wii. Le titre était exclusivement distribué via le service WiiWare au prix de 1000 Wii Points, occupant 264 blocs de mémoire sur la console.
L'accueil critique a été particulièrement sévère. Nintendo Life a pointé du doigt un gameplay cassé, une intelligence artificielle jugée injuste et des graphismes décevants, estimant néanmoins que certains amateurs du genre pourraient y trouver leur compte. Hardcore Gamer a été bien plus radical, qualifiant l'œuvre de l'un des pires jeux jamais réalisés. Du côté des joueurs, l'avis sur Metacritic oscille entre l'ironie la plus totale, un contributeur le présentant comme la plus grande réussite de l'histoire de l'humanité, et un témoignage plus personnel d'un certain Aiden Corr affirmant l'aimer plus que ses propres enfants et réclamant une suite. Cette réception contrastée se reflète dans une note agrégée très faible, s'établissant à 16,67 sur 100.
