Soccer Slammers, développé et publié par Atooi, est sorti sur Nintendo Switch le 14 juin 2018. Ce titre de genre arcade et sport propose un football d'arcade rapide en 2 contre 2, jouable de un à quatre joueurs. La presse a salué l'aspect convivial du jeu, NintendoWorldReport évoquant des graphismes cubiques et un gameplay léger qui en font avant tout un jeu de fête, tandis que Nintendo Enthusiast a noté qu'il se savoure mieux en petites doses en raison de son contenu limité. Du côté des joueurs, certains regrettent le manque de contenu et le prix trop élevé, estimant que le titre offre trop peu d'options de jeu.

« All in all, Soccer Slammers is an ok football **** matches are short and given a little time and practice can be very enjoyable. The selection of teams gives the game some variety, however, it is obviously a smaller game and at times feels like a cash grab to coincide with the World Cup. I feel like Atooi missed a huge opportunity in not adding online multiplayer. I think if the game had an online aspect, it’s life span would stretch way beyond the end of the World Cup.
