Paw Patrol: On a Roll! est un jeu développé par Torus Games et édité par Outright Games, disponible depuis le 23 octobre 2018 sur PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One et Nintendo 3DS. Classé dans les genres aventure, réflexion et plateforme, il propose de rejoindre l'équipe complète de la Pat' Patrouille, incluant Everest et Tracker, pour seize missions de sauvetage dans la Grande Vallée, réparties dans huit lieux comme la ferme de Madame Yumi ou la montagne de Jake. Le joueur aide chaque chiot à utiliser ses capacités uniques en incarnant deux chiots différents par mission, au travers d'activités de plateforme et de réflexion destinées aux enfants.
La durée de jeu est courte, avec environ quatre heures pour l'histoire principale et cinq heures pour un parcours complet, pour un prix de 29,99 euros et une note agrégée de 60. La presse a salué un titre sûr pour les jeunes enfants, comme l'a relevé PlayStation Country en parlant d'un jeu qui ravira les plus petits mais au platforming conventionnel, tandis que GameOver.gr a noté sa répétitivité et son absence de défi, propre à un public très jeune. Certains joueurs sur Metacritic ont décrit un bon jeu pour enfants en apprentissage, et un avis Steam positif mentionne un univers sympa et une dizaine d'heures avec les refais de missions, alors qu'un avis Steam négatif regrette une finition complète par une fille de six ans en cinq heures, jugeant le jeu trop court pour son prix.

« * Game aimed at young kids... which hould be obvious... but... * I'm a 40 years old gamer with 2 kids. 3 and 4 years old. With today video games, "introducing" kids to video games "properly" is a big challenge for me. I don't want to just throw them on Fortnite and such... At that age, Super Mario World was too challenging and hard to understand. They also lost interrest in other kid games very quickly. But this one is perfect. Instructions are CLEAR and frequent. Given by the human kids from the serie. "Rider" I think... ? Controls are SIMPLE : Move + Jump Challenges are EASY. Stuff like alligning properly, and jump... and it is pretty forgiving. The game forgives a lot : huge "hit-box" to collect items. PLENTY of Paw Patrol exposition : plenty puppies and their gadgets. If kid is a fan, it helps keep the interrest. It's a good first video game to help them get their hands and fingers in sync with a TV. Get some basic video-gaming reflexes. Solve some small problems. My two kids -specially my 4 years old- really got into it and he is MUCH better at this game than any other. Showing that, clearly, his brain is able to follow what's going on. 10/10 --- for young kids, obviously »
« Paw patrol is an absolutely amazing game for a toddler or small child. The gameplay is user-friendly, and I find that the game style allows hours of fun for the kids without the stress of losing. This is by no means a complex game with a lot of gimmicks, what you see is what you get. The story and diverse play time with the different pups has the feel of a normal paw patrol episode. My rate of 8 for this game is off correlated to the fact that this is a special genre of video game, more oriented for the kids. I would love to see more games like this, that promote a good time for the kids without the fuss of losing and the usual rage quits. »
