Sorti le 31 décembre 1998, Oriental Legend Super est un jeu de combat à défilement horizontal produit par la société taïwanaise I.G.S. et disponible sur borne d'arcade. Rattaché aux genres aventure, arcade et hack 'n' slash / beat 'em up, il a été développé et publié par International Games System.

Ce titre constitue une version améliorée de Oriental Legend, ajoutant de nouvelles compétences et supprimant certaines aptitudes inutiles. Sa dénomination a évolué avec les mises à jour : en version 100, il a été nommé Oriental Legend Special hors d'Asie, puis après cette version, il est devenu Oriental Legend Super / Xiyou Shi E Chuan Super.
