Looney Tunes: Sheep Raider
Looney Tunes: Sheep Raider est un jeu vidéo sorti le 14 septembre 2001. Le joueur y incarne Ralph Wolf, un loup déterminé à voler un mouton, dans un cadre mêlant furtivité, humour et résolution d'énigmes. L'histoire se déroule à l'occasion du jeu télévisé « Sheep, Dog, and Wolf » présenté par Daffy Duck.
Développé par Infogrames Lyon House et publié par Infogrames, le jeu est disponible sur PlayStation et PC Windows. Il combine des éléments de stratégie, de réflexion et de plateforme.
La presse a réservé un accueil favorable au titre, qui obtient une note moyenne de 77,10. Games Radar a souligné son inventivité, le jugeant supérieur à la majorité des jeux PS2 de l'époque. Electric Playground a quant à lui estimé que les amateurs des cartoons Looney Tunes apprécieraient chaque niveau. Du côté des joueurs, les opinions sont partagées : certains le considèrent comme un chef-d'œuvre du puzzle-platforming et un bijou caché, tandis que d'autres regrettent des graphismes et une jouabilité en retrait par rapport à des références comme Spyro.

« Looney Tunes: Sheep Raider is a hidden gem of the PlayStation 1 era and a masterclass in puzzle-platforming. Its greatest strength is its ingenious level design, which perfectly captures the classic cartoon spirit by forcing you to use clever gadgets. The cel-shaded graphics still look fantastic today, and solving a complex heist make the gameplay incredibly rewarding. On the downside, the camera can be a bit finicky during precise platforming, and some later puzzles rely on slightly tedious trial and error. The campaign is also relatively short once you know the solutions. However, these are minor gripes for such a creative title. It’s easily one of my favorite PS1 games. »
