Kissed by the Baddest Bidder
Kissed by the Baddest Bidder est un jeu de type aventure et visual novel développé et édité par Voltage, disponible sur PC (Microsoft Windows), Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch et Intellivision Amico. Sorti le 5 novembre 2012, cet otome game place le joueur dans la peau d'une femme de chambre travaillant au premier hôtel-casino du Japon, qui découvre l'existence d'enchères clandestines et finit mise aux enchères elle-même. Cinq hommes remportent l'enchère et le joueur se retrouve à leur merci, parmi lesquels figurent Eisuke Ichinomiya, Soryu Oh, Mitsunari Baba, Ota Kisaki et Mamoru Kishi. La version Steam du titre, issue de l'application Love 365: Find Your Story, inclut un film d'ouverture et une fonction aventure inédite, et rassemble les histoires principales menant jusqu'à l'épilogue de demande en mariage pour chacun des cinq personnages. Le jeu utilise le moteur Unity et est proposé au prix de 29,99 euros. Selon les données de temps de jeu, l'histoire principale peut être complétée en quatre heures, contre environ soixante-huit heures et demie pour une approche complétionniste. Un joueur cité sur Metacritic a salué un titre « rempli de charme et de style », jugeant chaque route bien écrite et dotée d'une quantité d'histoire supérieure à la norme des otome.

« This game is filled to the brim with charm and style. Each route is wonderfully written, and the game contains more than the usual amount of story for an otome. Each of the 5 routes have a 4 hour base story (matching other games in the genre, making a 20 hour base story), along with "after story" episodes (there's quite a lot of these!). I think this is because the game is technically a mobile game port, and it definitely shows (there's no voice acting at all, unfortunately!). The promotional material was a *little* misleading, as I expected the game to be a little more dark and risque than it actually ended up being. I think my only real complaints here are the lack of voice acting, and general "mobile game" feel to it, which presumably is due to the fact that it is indeed a port (as many otome games on switch are). The characters are all well written, and you'll find the usual tropes. I'm definitely enjoying my time with this game and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, especially if you manage to get it on sale. »
