« I bought this game mainly because the title was released by Bethesda and they seem to have the best niche games. I think I outdid myself on this one because I am not a fan of drag racing but thought a Bethesda title would be a perfect entry point. I was wrong. The title is pretty early in the ps2 lifecycle and not all that great visually. Lots of options to customize your car exist but the parameters/ results of the customization seem too extreme. As expected there are lots of options for rigging your car but the experimentation is just not interesting enough for me to program my noob brain into liking drag racing. It's too difficult to become pretend immersed when some parameters launch your car to the moon in arcadelike fashion. That really was the issue if it's a sim then settings are too outlandish. A lot of die hard car fans seem to think this game rocks so I leave it to their reviews but for me, a non drag fan trying to enter the genre, the game was a no go, thus my warning rating of 6/10. »
