Avis des critiques et joueurs

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)

AceGamez 70/100

« It's very well presented and the voice actors read the questions with great style, putting it a cut above the average quiz game, but it'll only endure beyond short bouts of play for the most ardent of fans. »

Cheat Code Central 60/100

« This is one seriously difficult challenge. The questions are very obscure. I'm sure the actual writers of the show would have a hard time recalling some of these answers. Only real, hardcore fans of the show with Jeopary-friendly memories need apply. »

IGN 50/100

« Filled to the brim with content and hard-as-hell questions, but that's about it. The front-end could have been made in Flash, and it'll just bore you to death. »

PSM2 Magazine UK 44/100

« An ultra-niche and adequately designed quiz game with enough questions to keep you going for a couple of hours, but only really worth a rental. [Apr 2006, p.73] »

GamerFeed 40/100

« But the game's built by the basics, and the randomized 3,000+ questions run into problems with repetition. It's like...the Gunther of the gaming community. (Sorry, Gunther.) »

Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK 40/100

« Inoffensive and surprisingly nonrepetitive, this does exactly as the title suggests, but only an ardent fan will get any lasting enjoyment. [Jan 2006, p.111] »

« As a remake of trivia of a beloved and iconic show, expectations were high for it to deliver the same fun and interactive experience that fans cherish, allowing viewers at home to play along. Unfortunately, it fell short in almost every way. The questions were far too easy, and the contestants didn’t seem to be true superfans, which made it frustrating to watch. The cast lacked energy, and their lack of Friends trivia knowledge made the show cringeworthy at times. Overall, it was boring and completely missed the mark, leaving little enjoyment for fans hoping to relive the magic. »

« A nice game to play with one hand *wink wink nudge nudge* .... ... I injured my arm in a biking accident »

« Anyone who has not watched Friends religiously is not going to get any enjoyment out of this game. Even if you are a huge fan of the show this game still doesn't have much to offer, as there's only really 1 mode with a couple of options that's set up so that it drags out as long as possible unless someone is an ace that can consistently get the questions right. The only reason I gave it any points is that it doesn't seem to have any technical problems and they got actual actors from the show to do the narration but unfortunately even that gets old pretty quick. »

« If you are a fan of the show Friends and you have some friends around the house to play with, this is definitively the game for you. For anyone else there is nothing much to find here. Luckily I am a big fan so for me this is a very fun game to spend an hour or so with my girlfriend, who also likes the Friends show. This is the kinda game you will come back to once and again to have a short fun time with, it's not a game that you will play for hours or days in a row. Even with more than 3000 questions it will become repetitive soon after some time. One time we even had the same question that we got 5 minutes before, which my girlfriend didn't mind coz she just heard the correct answer from me and so it was an easy win for her. The questions are surprisingly hard so even if the same questions tend to repeat itself after a while, it happens that you still can't remember the correct answer that you heard before. The multi-player (upto 4 players) mode features the all-play (every player answers the question within a certain time limit) and the buzz-in (the player who presses the x-button first can give the answer, if the answer is incorrect the other players can press the x-button and give the answer). There is also a single-player mode. You can change the length of the game and the difficulty. A really nice touch in this game is that the questions are being asked by Janice, Gunther and the parents of Ross and Monica: Jack and Judy Geller. This game gets a solid 7 out of 10 from me! »
