Farming Simulator VR
Farming Simulator VR, développé et publié par Giants Software, est sorti le 28 février 2025 sur Meta Quest 2 et Meta Quest 3, s'appuyant sur le moteur GIANTS Engine. Le jeu propose une expérience relaxante et pratique qui rapproche le joueur de la terre, invitant à cultiver des champs avec des cultures productives comme le maïs, le blé et le soja. Il est possible d'opérer des machines agricoles authentiques de fabricants renommés directement depuis la cabine de puissants tracteurs, de saisir des outils de réparation pour entretenir les véhicules et leurs pièces dans l'atelier, de s'occuper de légumes en serre et de nettoyer ses engins à l'aide d'un nettoyeur haute pression.
Concernant l'accueil critique, GAMES.CH a salué le fait que « The farming activities presented here are solidly implemented in VR and are quite fun at first. The models of agricultural machinery also look usable, the cont… ». En revanche, UploadVR a regretté « With the omission of certain VR accessibility options, a lack of activities such as raising livestock, and visual bugs, it is hard not to imagine how much more… ». Sur Metacritic, un joueur a partagé un avis très négatif en affirmant « Absolute rip off. Gameplay isnt good, you cant drive to the field and get Teleportet there, graphicsnot good. Not sure what good there ist say honestly, other … ».

« The farming activities presented here are solidly implemented in VR and are quite fun at first. The models of agricultural machinery also look usable, the controls are quickly internalized, the comfort functions are okay and the music fits the action. However, in direct comparison with Farming Simulator 25, the VR version is pretty weak in terms of content. After just a few hours you want nothing more than more different activities, a significantly larger map with more places to explore, more machines, more crops to grow, and generally more things to do. Sadly also livestock breeding and forestry do not play a role here. »

Regardless, Farming Simulator VR is a commendable effort that warrants a playthrough for both series veterans and those curious about farm life. With a few tweaks and additions, it could become one of the must-plays of the current VR generation. As it currently stands, however, it's a calming distraction. »
