Disney's The Lion King: Simba's Mighty Adventure
Disney's The Lion King: Simba's Mighty Adventure

« An evening-long game that's high on production values but low on replayability. »
« Almost every aspect of Lion King is simply acceptable. As a result, Lion King doesn’t suffer from any glaring flaws but it also doesn’t give you a terribly compelling reason to buy the game. »
« I'll cut things short by saying that even if you're in the market for an overly simple, cookie-cutter, kid-targeted game, there are better ones available on the system. "102 Dalmatians," for one. »
« Not only is the movie a copy of another movie, it's now a game which copies a movie which copies another movie. Too much copying means no innovation. »
« Avoid this one at all costs, and if your child begs for it after seeing it on store shelves, spare them unending agony by only renting it -- and then only as punishment for misbehaving. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« 4/10 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Huh, what's happening? Oh, I don't care. »
« This is a very simple easy platformer which was okay for its time. However replaying it in 2020 you realise that this game is only worth going back to if you've got nostalgia for the movie or the game. This would have been a perfect game to play with your small child. Rating: Gameplay: 2/5 - Simple and **** at times. Loads of clipping problems. Level Design: 2/5 - Simple but solid. Loads of elements are recycled over the game. The difficulty is really low which is fine for a kids game. Soundtrack: 2/5 - Good simple tracks. But they repeat a lot. Story: 4/5 - It's the lion king 1 and 2 from simbas perspective with some stuff cut out. Graphics: 2/5 - Average for ps1 standards Length: 3/5 - Only 9 levels. It took about 1 to 2 hours to beat Replay Value: 3/5 - There's collectible hunting and some minigames Enjoyment: 3/5 - It was fine. Overall rating: 21/40 => 5/10 »
« Good quality if we talk about graphics (PS1), minigames are not so bad, but they do not make much sense in this game, paying fruits for playing silly minigames? no thx I'll pass. Music it's ok but to be honest we all know one of the best things about lion king is the music so maybe they coulda use some of that legendary sinphonies that they already have... Now I will say something about the Gameplay... The gamplay ingame is so terrible that u would like to leave this game in lvl 2... Final argument, if you like lion king try it and see what you think (Do not expect much), else just avoid it, it's not a good game at all, it's very frustrating and it's diffcult for little kids also. Graphics: 6.9 / 10 Music: 4.0 / 10 Quality of Levels: 4.5 / 10 Gameplay: 2.0 / 10 Extras: 4 / 10 Final Score: 3.88 / 10 »

« I have not a single reason why this game is so infamous. This game is hard as hell. The difficulty with the platforming makes this game pretty solid. I would'nt rate this game a 3 or a 0. I give this game a 5 out of 10. »
