Cabela's Big Game Hunter
Cabela's Big Game Hunter

« It has some minor gameplay annoyances, but overall it delivers the slow-paced but nonetheless thrilling experience of game hunting. »
« Sure, I can mow down countless humans in any FPS, but drilling a gentle animal is not my idea of a good time. [Mar 2003, p.83] »
« Features some tremendously rewarding moments when you finally get the kill. Getting there however can be a frustrating and repetitive business. »
« A first-rate hiking simulator. [28 Feb 2003, p.86] »
« It should be able to tide over hunters looking for some off-season adventure on their PS2s. On its own merits, though, it isn't much of a game. »
« If you're the type that wants instant action and do not like games that take a long time to play, then this game will not appeal to you. They did a good job of capturing the true way of hunting and to be honest they might have made it less realistic. »
« True hunters will see nothing but shortcomings. [Apr 2003, p.87] »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« While bit older then some other hunting games and long load times almost ps2 cd feel The depth this game has is wild. Growing up seeing my bro play this(as i had gba) you get allll kinds of equipment, guns, camps, calls, smells, Lots of location and like real hunting. A pain in the ass to kill something. While sometimes the maps feel empty and graphics are ehhhh. If you want, the hunting video game. This old gem be the one to do it. »

« You know how many money Activision has gained after, probably a decade of this flood. I don't know how many, but Activision need to cancel this pathetic franchise, who will even care of Cabela 2014 ? anyone? no. »
