Asphalt: Xtreme
Asphalt: Xtreme, développé et publié par Gameloft, est sorti le 27 octobre 2016 sur PC (Microsoft Windows), Android et iOS. Second spin-off de la série Asphalt, il constitue le premier opus orienté vers la course tout-terrain, proposant de rouler sur des dunes, dans des canyons et sur la boue pour devancer ses adversaires. Ce jeu de course a reçu une note moyenne agrégée de 69,86. La presse a salué son expérience de course arcade solide, dotée d'une carrière riche et d'un mode multijoueur amusant, tandis que 148Apps a relevé quelques irritants liés au free-to-play et aux performances sans remettre en cause le plaisir de jeu. Certains joueurs, en revanche, expriment leur mécontentement, jugeant le titre médiocre et déplorant notamment l'obligation de changer l'huile de la voiture tous les quelques courses.

« The game itself is mediocre but I am giving it a 2 out of 10 because: Every 3-5 races (depending on the length) you are forced to change the oil in your car which can take 4-90 minutes depending on the vehicle. You can purchase upgrades for your cars using real money which means that you have to spend thousands of $ to stay competitive. NO GAME SHOULD COST MORE THAN $100. This is exacerbated by being unable to directly purchase upgrades. First you have to buy a loot box which is not guaranteed to contain the desired upgrade. Video Advertisements are offered to users for double cash (after completing a race), to draw an extra card from the loot box, and to skip oil changes. »
