Walt Disney Computer Software
First Established in 1983 as "Walt Disney Personal Computer Software". Disney established its own in house gaming unit, Walt Disney Computer Software, Inc. (WDCS), and it was incorporated on September 15, 1988. WDCS generally used third-party development studios to design spin-off games using its existing portfolio of characters. At the turn of 1988, they would be better known as just "Disney Software". Using the film studio style formula, WDCS was reorganized into Disney Interactive, Inc. (DI) on December 5, 1994 with the merging of WDCS and Walt Disney Television and Telecommunications.

The distributor, BadLandGames S.L., was founded in July 2011. BadLand Games Publishing is a publishing label for independent games launched by the Spanish company BadLandGames S.L. in July 2017. BadLand Games' head office was in Madrid, Spain. Their last website went down in early 2022 and they became defunct after October 2022. *** About BadLand Games: BadLand Games is a Spanish independent company specialized in the physical distribution of video games. Foudned in 2011, it distributes games for all platforms and counts important titles like the official video game of “La Voz”, the praised Telltale Games titles “The Walking Dead” and “The Wolf Among Us”, the franchises “Farming Simulator” and “Pro Cycling Manager”, “Blood Bowl 2” and more among its extensive catalogue. In 2014 BadLand Games began its foray into hardware distribution with the independent console, OUYA, which got its start thanks to crowdfunding on Kickstarter.
