First Established in 1983 as "Walt Disney Personal Computer Software". Disney established its own in house gaming unit, Walt Disney Computer Software, Inc. (WDCS), and it was incorporated on September 15, 1988. WDCS generally used third-party development studios to design spin-off games using its existing portfolio of characters. At the turn of 1988, they would be better known as just "Disney Software". Using the film studio style formula, WDCS was reorganized into Disney Interactive, Inc. (DI) on December 5, 1994 with the merging of WDCS and Walt Disney Television and Telecommunications.

BadLand Games' head office was in Madrid, Spain. Currently, both branches are fully operational and boast an expanding catalogue of video games and gadgets, respectively. Additionally, in mid-2015 BadLand Games opened its first office outside Spain, specifically in the United Kingdom, with the name BadLand Games UK Ltd. *** About BadLand Publishing: Badland Publishing embody the firm belief in the need to support international talent in the fields of videogame development. The essence of this branch is to facilitate the materialization of competitive projects envisioned by independent international developers. On one hand by providing them the work space and all the technical equipment necessary for development, but also by offering them a commercial and marketing cannon via the company’s proven expertise in the field of the distribution of videogames.
