Electric Dreams Software

Electric Dreams Software, founded in 1985, was a subsidiary of Activision based in Southampton, England. Established and led by former Quicksilva manager Rod Cousens, Electric Dreams published games for computers popular in the UK, including the Spectrum, CPC, C64, Amiga and Atari ST. They were not active after 1990. Their internal development division was Software Studio.

CBS Electronics

CBS Electronics was a short-lived video game division of CBS Toys/Gabriel Industries founded in 1982 by CBS Inc. to market video games domestically and internationally. In the U.S., CBS Electronics was primarily known for their ports of several arcade games for the Atari 2600 and 5200 systems. Outside the U.S., CBS Electronics was known primarily for their marketing of games by Coleco. CBS manufactured and distributed the ColecoVision system and its games in Europe, Australia, and elsewhere. They also marketed Coleco's games for the Atari 2600 VCS and Intellivision systems in these same territories. CBS Electronics enjoyed some early success, but in late 1983 the video game industry began to crash, and CBS abruptly pulled the plug on their video game division.

Introversion Software

Introversion Software is one of the UK's most-respected and successful independent game developers and publishers. Founded in 2001 by three university students, they have gone on to create four critically acclaimed video games including cult classics Uplink, DEFCON, Darwinia and Multiwinia. In Feb 2010 Introversion made it's first move into the console space by releasing Darwinia+ (Darwinia & Multiwinia) for the Xbox Live Arcade. Introversion have previously been voted one of the top 50 Best Games Companies in the world and their most recent release, Prison Architect, has enjoyed success whilst in Alpha and currently has over 250,000 players.

Nightdive Studios (legal name: Night Dive Studios, Inc.) is an independent developer and publisher of classic videogames. Established in 2012, the company now publishes 100 titles across multiple digital platforms. Most recently the company launched a highly successful Kickstater campaign for its next title, a reboot of the classic game System Shock. Nightdive Studios has established an unparalleled reputation for quality and gathered a loyal fanbase.

Funselektor Labs

Funselektor launched in 2014 when its founder, Dune Casu developed his prototype made at a game jam which would later become Funselektor's debut title, Absolute Drift in 2015. After the release of his first game and with the drive to apply his passion for rally in a new game, Dune immediately began development on Funselektor's second title, art of rally while supporting Absolute Drift. It involved collaborators for art and music until 2020 when more developers and producers came on to help finish it and provide post-launch support.

CCP

CCP hf., doing business as CCP Games, is an Icelandic video game developer based in Reykjavík. Novator Partners and General Catalyst had previously collectively owned a majority stake in the company, and in September 2018, CCP was acquired by South Korean video game publisher Pearl Abyss.

JVC

JVC (short for Japan Victor Company) is a Japanese brand owned by JVCKenwood. Founded in 1927 as the Victor Talking Machine Company of Japan and later as Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. (日本ビクター株式会社, Nihon Bikutā kabushiki gaisha), the company was best known for introducing Japan's first televisions and for developing the Video Home System (VHS) video recorder. From 1953 to 2008, the Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. was the majority stockholder in JVC. In 2008, JVC merged with Kenwood Corporation to create JVCKenwood. JVC sold their electronic products in their home market of Japan under the "Victor" name with the His Master's Voice logo but used the name JVC or Nivico in the past for export due to differing ownership of the His Master's Voice logo and the ownership of the "Victor" name from successors of the Victor Talking Machine Company. In 2011, the Victor brand for electronics in Japan was replaced by the global JVC brand. However, the previous "Victor" name and logo are retained by JVCKenwood Victor Entertainment, and are used as JVCKenwood's luxury HiFi marque. At the beginning of the 1990s, JVC ventured on publishing console video games using their main label in America while making parallel releases under the Victor Musical Industries and Victor Entertainment subdivisions. The very first releases under this denomination were games under the Star Wars license, on the SNES they would release the Super Star Wars series and Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures. Occasionally they would also publish other miscellaneous games such as ports of arcade games. At the turn of the 21st century, there would not be more games published under the JVC label.
