Grasshopper Manufacture, also referred as GhM, is a Japanese videogames developement studio, founded in 1998 by gamedesigner SUDA51 (aka Goichi Suda). Almost all of the studio's games were created under his direction or supervision. Their games are famous for their style and atypicality, sometimes they even considered "punk video game band".

G-MODE

G-mode Co., Ltd. is a Japanese studio specializing in game content for mobile networks. It became especially known for acquiring the back catalogue of Data East Corporation with more than 40 classic games. The company currently licenses the content for re-releases of classic games on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console, GameTap, and mobile games, but also releases of classic games on more modern platforms. In January 2014, all shares in the company were acquired by ONE-UP Co., Ltd., and on March 2014 the company was merged completely into ONE-UP, with ONE-UP renaming themselves to G-mode.

Watanabe Seisakusho

Watanabe Seisakusho is a doujinshi game circle that once existed. It was disbanded in February 2003. Various rights to the published games have been taken over by French-Bread (France Pan), which was established by the members of the same circle.

Cyan Worlds

In 1987, brothers Rand and Robyn Miller started a new company called Cyan, Inc., named for the open blue sky of possibility. The studio was built on the foundation of delivering incredible, immersive game experiences while maintaining a one-of-a-kind, collaborative atmosphere. Their first project was creating a new kind of software for children that would allow them to explore and freely express their creativity. The first of these “digital storybooks” was The Manhole, followed by Cosmic Osmo and Spelunx. In 1991 Cyan began work on Myst, a more mature endeavor intended to create an experience that felt more like a real place than a game. A surreal adventure through a fully-realized 3D environment, with a deeper story and characters the player could learn about through exploration. Receiving unanimous praise from the public, sales for the Myst series have exceeded 15 million copies worldwide, and held the title of the best-selling video game of the 20th century until 2003. Cyan has always been drawn to pushing the possibilities of interactive storytelling forward. Uru (Myst Online) allowed players to join the adventure of a lifetime in the caverns of D’ni, a neverending world which let players connect and explore together. It spawned a thriving community and is still available to explore for free. Cyan is always embracing the latest technology, and has been an Unreal Engine-led studio since the 2016 release of Obduction. Cyan balances world-class artistry and worldbuilding with a small but passionate team to create games with incredible richness and depth. Today, Cyan continues to carry on the very same dream that began in 1987.

Rob Sienkiewicz (aka Shinki) has been a games developer since 2006. Sienkiewicz created the Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe series and worked at Black Rock Studio until its closure in 2011. Then, he went on to co-found Second Impact Games.

HeR Interactive, originally a division of American Laser Games called Games For Her Interactive, is a video game developer based in Bellevue, Washington, best known for their long-running series of adventure games based on the Nancy Drew series of mystery novels.

GIANTS Software GmbH is one of the most successful game developers and publishers in Europe, with offices in Zürich (Switzerland), Erlangen (Germany), Brno (Czech Republic) and Chicago (USA). It is well known since many years for its “Farming Simulator” series, a worldwide best-selling game and real-time simulation.

Ubisoft Osaka, was a studio specialized in handheld games. It was created after Ubisoft Nagoya was closed and the staff was gathered in Osaka. The studio collaborated with Ubisoft San Francisco.
