In April of 1993, JVC subdivisions Victor Musical Industries and Nihon AVC merged together to form Victor Entertainment. Victor Entertainment is a subsidiary of JVCKenwood that produces and distributes music, movies and other entertainment products such as anime and television shows in Japan. It is known as JVC Entertainment in countries where Sony Music Entertainment operates the RCA Victor label. In October 1st, 1996 Pack-In-Video would be merged into Victor Entertainment temporarily taking over most video game ventures under the Victor Interactive Software, Inc. label; at times it would use Pack-In-Soft as an alias. In Mar 31, 2003 Marvelous Interactive acquired Victor Interactive Software, becoming Marvelous Entertainment. After 2003 Victor Entertainment returned to regular game publishing activities. As of 2024, they are still active as a label.

Vlambeer was a Dutch independent games studio consisting of Jan Willem Nijman and Rami Ismail, based in Utrecht, Netherlands. It announced the cessation of operations in 2020, but in 2024 Nijman issued a statement that he has obtained sole ownership of the studio, and now will be running it to preserve and maintain the playability of Vlambeer games.
